19. So what’s the story behind that tattoo?
Meet my friend Cécile: scientist turned tattoo artist, lifelong doodler and the person behind more than a thousand tattoos. Some of you might already know her as @pimoosink, the artist whose work has attracted a following of thousands on Instagram. From drawing graffiti at six to swapping antibodies for ink, her path has taken her from biotech to her own tattoo studio, with a banana making a rather unexpected appearance along the way. This is a story about creativity, taking the unconventional path and discovering that sometimes, the art you’ve been making all along can turn into something much bigger.
